THE NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) at Northfield High School, which I proudly sponsor, is dedicated to fostering a love and appreciation for the arts while encouraging academic excellence and community involvement. The chapter emphasizes creativity, leadership, and the importance of artistic expression both in and outside of the classroom. Through various projects, events, and collaborations, students in NAHS are given the opportunity to enhance their skills, engage in meaningful service, and inspire others in their school and local communities. The society also aims to cultivate a sense of responsibility among its members, encouraging them to use their artistic talents for social good and personal growth. Congratulations to Ellyana Hall and Campbell Rosen, whose artwork has been selected for the highly competitive National Art Honor Society (NAHS) Juried Exhibition hosted by the National Art Education Association (NAEA). This Year, the exhibition received a record-breaking 2,414 submissions, with only 83 pieces chosen by a panel of distinguished arts educators.
